Remedy Cafe

Welcome to Remedy Cafe, a delightful gem located at 1707 Towne Centre Blvd NW, Edmonton, AB T6R 3N9, Canada. This charming cafe is a haven for those seeking a cozy atmosphere paired with a menu that beautifully marries comfort and creativity. With its boho-style decor and friendly vibe, Remedy Cafe offers an inviting escape that feels like a warm hug on a chilly day.

One of the highlights of Remedy Cafe is its impressive selection of hot drinks. If you’re a chai lover, you must try the Dirty Chai - a perfect blend of masala chai with a shot of espresso that packs a flavorful punch at CA$7.70. Alternatively, for those who prefer something uplifting, the Coconut Matcha latte, infused with rich coconut syrup, is a delightful choice at CA$5.70.

But Remedy Cafe doesn’t stop at drinks. The vegetarian and vegan menus are equally enticing. The Vegan Butter Chicken (CA$19.10) redefines comfort food, offering a creamy soy-based sauce that’s gluten-free and 100% vegan. Pair that with the aromatic Dahl, a traditional stewed lentil curry, priced at CA$13.35, and you have a comforting meal that satisfies both the palate and the conscience.

Customers rave about the warm atmosphere and the delicious offerings. Pramod Neel described it as a “nice experience in terms of offbeat ambience and delicious food,” showcasing the eclectic charm of the cafe. Meanwhile, loyal patrons like Ley Tran appreciate the “secluded” feel of this location, almost like a retreat from the bustling city. The cozy environment makes it an ideal spot for studying or catching up with friends over a cup of their signature chai.

Don’t forget to try the wraps – the Chana Masala Wrap and Aloo Gobi Wrap are crowd favorites, both priced at CA$14.60. They are not just satisfying but also customizable to be gluten-free and vegan. This versatility allows everyone to enjoy a fulfilling meal regardless of dietary preferences.

For those who cherish customer service, Remedy Cafe goes above and beyond. The staff is known for their kindness and willingness to accommodate, as demonstrated by Mila Huseynova's experience, where a mix-up was met with grace and good humor.

This quaint boho style cafe was surprisingly a nice experience in terms of off beat ambience and delicious food and drinks. The unassuming appearance and the bunch of eclectic looking customers gave this place a unique flavor. One of the walls was decorated floor to ceiling with various different types teas, coffees, and serving utensils. The coffee we ordered was aptly brewed and the hummus/pita was spiced to perfection. Would definitely give it a try again in future.

Always a nice and cozy atmosphere when I visit. Classic Chai is ; just the right amount of spice. Kashmere is also quality, just a little sweet. Tastes like if someone put Baby Johnson lotion in tea but it's better than it sounds. : ...

Came in today at 7:30 to get an iced chai latte , and had the most wholesome experience. I, unfortunately in a fatigued state, ordered the wrong drink which was a matcha latte since I’m used to ordering that drink at other cafes. I was about to leave and then got enough courage to surpass my embarrassment and come back and reorder the correct drink, willing to pay of course. However, the gentleman that helped with my order earlier didn’t even take payment but instead laughed it off and made me the one I wanted . Thank you again for your kindness and understanding . You really didn’t need to do that but it really did make my day and helped me feel more comfortable and less embarrassed.

I love this location! Reminds me so much of being secluded in the mountains because of the beautiful surrounding homes. I have been to all of the locations and the only problem I have with the Remedy Cafes are because of their overcrowding - this one is out of the downtown grind, and there is always somewhere to sit. Tip: When you order any of the Dishes, make sure to get half rice and half pita. This gives you the biggest bang for your buck! ;)
